The Electoral Commission last week held a ballot exercise to determine the position of presidential candidates on the 2024 ballot paper. Speaking to his congregation this past Sunday, Rev. Owusu-Bempah said his accurate forecast of the ballot position of a certain political party’s presidential candidate led to an immediate phone call from the candidate following the exercise. “How do you tell a political party that they will select a specific number and truly they end up picking the same number?
It is strange; he called me and said, ‘Papa, you are fearsome; I would have told you that you are a wizard if I didnʼt have reverence for you.’ Even their flagbearer spoke to me. It is a new beginning,” he told his congregation. Reverend Owusu-Bempah, despite not being specific about the said candidate or political party, touted his fortitude in election predictions, noting his record over the years.
He has on several occasions claimed to have rightly predicted the outcome of several elections locally and internationally. “There is no man of God in Ghana that does spiritual work more than I do,” he told his congregation.
